1. Initial order
Send me an email or call me at (415) 215-0372. We’ll discuss the kind of riding you’ll be doing, the expected load (rider weight plus equipment), the width of tire you’ll be using, and your expectation(s) regarding the “feel” of the wheel(s).
2. Decisions, decisions.
After a bit of back and forth (usually a good thing!), we’ll arrive at a basic agreement regarding your wheel(s), and we can then move on to hub, spoke and rim choices.
3. Build ’em
Once we have agreed on the price and details of the build, I will ask for a 50% deposit (check or Paypal), and when I receive that, I will build the wheels.
4. Delivery
Once the remaining last half is paid, I’ll ship them to you via UPS Ground. There is a $60 flat-rate charge for a wheelset ($30 for a single wheel). Upgrading to 3- or 2-day, while quite expensive, is possible, as well.
